World Poets arrive for Hebden Bridge Arts Festival

Posted by Sarah, 5th July 2012

We're gearing up for our final engagement for Poetry Parnassus: six Arc poets at the Hebden Bridge Art Festival on Sunday 8th July

The extravaganza which will bring sunshine to a wet Hebden Bridge is at the Little Theatre, Holme Street, HX7 8EE, 3.30 - 9.30pm

There'll be informal conversations with the poets after each reading

3.45pm - Razmik Davoyan (Armenia) & Zeyar Lynn (Burma)
6.00pm - Paul Dakeyo (Cameroon) & Eli Tolaretxipi (Spain)
7.45pm - Alvin Pang (Singapore) & Selina Tusitala Marsh (Tuvalu)

£8 (£6, or £2 for the under 26s) for all three readings

In association with Southbank Centre and Speaking Volumes. And we have to thank Sarah Sanders and Sharmilla Beezmohun for all their hard work in getting the poets here...

Do come if you're in the area
