Northern Poetry Vol. 1

This volume contains the best entries from a competition held during the summer of 1989 for northern poets, as selected by the competition judges, Catherine Byron and John Lyons. Each of the twelve winning poets is represented by five poems or a sequence, or one longer poem, in order to give a clearer view of the writer than is the case with the usual anthology.
