A selection of poems mainly taken from Fortini's collection Questo muro which consists of poems written between 1962 and 1972; the current selection also includes two earlier poems of the period 1958-1962 from Una volta per sempre.
This volume is produced as a parallel text, with Fortini's originals and Michael Hamburger's translations (authorized by the poet himself) on facing pages.
First edition of 500 copies, 150 of which were bound in cloth. Both hardback and paperback versions have dustwrapper. Published by Arc Publications, Todmorden, and designed and printed by Tony Ward at the Arc & Throstle Press. Pale blue dustwrapper with printing. 20.5 x 15.4 cms.
