50 years at the cutting edge of poetry publishing

“A meeting point for poets of all latitudes”

Glen Baxter UK

Glen Baxter was born in Leeds and attended Leeds College of Art (1960-1965) and went on to teach at the Victoria and Albert Museum and at Goldsmiths' College, London. In 1974, he was invited to read at St. Mark's Church, New York and shortly afterwards, the Gotham Book Mart Gallery held the first of many Baxter exhibitions in New York City. His work has been exhibited in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, San Francisco, New York, Sydney, Otley and Tokyo.

Glen Baxter is a kind of mad cross between Magritte, S. J. Perelman and pulp fiction.
