Adam Czerniawski Poland

Adam Czerniawski is a Polish Poet living in Britain. A close friend of Tadeusz Rozewicz, he has published translations of, and has written extensively on, a large selection of his poetry. Czerniawski's own writings in English include a memoir Scenes from a disturbed childhood, a bilingual Selected Poems, an anthology of Polish poetry entitled The Burning Forest, and The Mature Laurel, an edition of essays on modern Polish poetry.
