Emma Gee

EMMA GEE studied Classics at Sydney and Cambridge universities and lectured in Classics at the universities of Exeter, Sydney and St Andrews. She is now a freelance Classical scholar, tutor and learning support assistant. She is author of Aratus and the Astronomical Condition (OUP, 2013) and Mapping the Afterlife (OUP,2020) and has also published academic works on Lucretius.

Her translation of Lucretius’ De rerum natura aims to make this astonishing and vital text accessible to new readers.
