Ioana Nicolaie Romania

Ioana Nicolaie was born in 1974 in Transylvania and studied Philology at the University of Bucharest. She has published three collections of poetry — Photograph Not Retouched (2000), The North (2002) and Faith (2003) — and has been anthologised, with other younger poets, in Windows (1998), 40238 Tescani (1999) and, in a review of contemporary Romanian poetry, Poésie (Maison de la Poésie / Théatre Molicre, Paris, 2003).
