János Térey Hungary
János Térey was born in Debrecen, Hungary's second city, in 1970. Poet, dramatist, novelist and literary translator, he has won many Hungarian literary awards, including the prestigious Attila József Prize for poetry and the Aegon Prize for outstanding drama. His most important publications to date are The Dispersion (1991), The Natural Arrogance (1993), The Real Warsaw, Complaints Book (1995), Possessors' Aspect (1997), Termann's Traditions (1997), Paulus (2001) and The Nibelung Subdivision (2004).
