Jenny Williams UK

Jenny Williams is Associate Professor in the School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies and a member of the Centre for Translation and Textual Studies at Dublin City University, Ireland. She has taught courses in translation theory and practice at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as supervised research in the field. Her biography of Hans Fallada, More Lives than One (London: Libris, 1998) appeared in German as Mehr Leben als Eins (Berlin: Aufbau) in 2002. She is co-author with Andrew Chesterman of The Map. A Beginner's Guide to Doing Research in Translation Studies (Manchester: St. Jerome, 2002). This is her first volume of poetry translation.
