Louis Andriessen Netherlands

Louis Andriessen (born in 1939) is one of the most important composers alive today. As a teacher at the Royal Dutch Conservatoire at The Hague, he was, and continues to be, a mentor to many young composers, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Outside the Netherlands he teaches at a number of academic institutions, including Yale and Princeton universities.
