Mark Robinson UK

Mark Robinson was born in Preston, Lancashire in 1964 and now lives in the parish of Preston-on-Tees in Eaglescliffe. His poetry collections include Half a Mind, Gaps Between Hills (with Andy Croft and Dermot Blackburn), The Horse Burning Park and The Domesticity Remix. His work has been widely anthologised and translated. He edited Write Out Loud, a ground-breaking collection of essays on poetry readings. For ten years, he edited Scratch poetry magazine and press. In 2000, a film featuring one of his poems won a Regional Television Society award.
He enjoys a parallel life as Executive Director of Arts Council England, North East.
