Vyacheslav Sidorenko was born in 1985 in Ukraine and started his musical education at the age of five. In 1990, he entered the Kharkov Music School No 9 where he studied with Irine Bazarova. From 1998-2000 he studied at the Kharkov Secondary Special Music School in the class of Professor Igor Prihdko. Whilst there he won numerous competitions and festivals.
In 2003 Vyacheslav received a scholarship from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and is now in his fourth year of the BMus undergraduate course at the RNCM where he studies with Norma Fisher. Vyacheslav has participated in numerous RNCM festivals and masterclasses with artists including Stephen Hough, Alexander Melnikov, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Stephen Savage and others. During his years of study, Vyacheslav has won numerous competitions at the RNCM (Prix Scarbo, Concerto Competition, Ryszard Bakst Memorial Prize for the playing of Chopin) and has given many chamber and solo concerts in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and London. In 2004 he won the Moray Piano Competition in Scotland and Sevenoaks Young Musician of the Year. He took second prize at Michael Harding International Piano Competition.
